Simon is a Director and co-founder of MRP Hydraulic and Fire Services Consultants Pty Ltd, which formed in 2007 from the merger of ‘McKendry Rein Petersen’ and ‘Brian Burnett and Associates’.
In 1993, following a successful period employed as a Trade Qualified Plumber, Drainer and Gasfitter, Simon entered the Hydraulic Design and Consulting Services profession, and this year celebrates a 30-year milestone as a Hydraulic Consultant in Queensland.
Simon’s knowledge and experience gained through industry immersion and active participation at project level has proven an invaluable asset to MRP clients seeking reliable service, practical and cost-effective Hydraulic and Fire Service solutions for their projects.
Simon continues to pursue opportunities for continued professional development, ensuring the delivery of innovative, environmentally sound and quality assured design, documentation, and consulting service.
Andrew commenced his career as a Designer in the Hydraulic Consultancy industry following a successful period of more than 13 years as a Licensed Plumber, Drainer & Gasfitter, working both overseas and within Australia. During this time Andrew’s specialised focus was on commercial projects of medium to large detail and complexity.
Andrew’s trade skills, together with his successful completion of the Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design ensure that he has a broad range of knowledge and skills to undertake a diverse range of projects.
Andrew became a Director of MRP in 2020 and in this capacity provides commitment and experience to projects inclusive of government, residential, commercial, health, educational and industrial developments. Since joining MRP, Andrew’s dedication and client focus has been invaluable in ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
As a Team Leader Andrew actively engages with his team to monitor high standards of project delivery in both design and documentation. In his commitment to the team, Andrew is keenly proactive in mentoring design & drafting staff to ensure job satisfaction through consistent personal development.
